Chelsea have made a late bid to sign Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez. Tevez, frustrated at limited playing opportunities at the Premier league Champions, was all set to go to Manchester City. However, Chelsea's new manager Carlo Ancelotti personally intervened at the last minute. Tevez is available for Euro $25 million when his loan deal at United finishes at the end of this month.
